Errata

After the publication of the paper, the following errors were identified in the Supporting Information of the Binding Curve Viewer manuscript. The corrected versions are reflected in Appendix 1 of this documentation.

(1) In the Supporting Information, equation Appendix 1.4 (4) contained a sign error in the coefficient of \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq}\). The incorrect equation was:

\[{(\left[\mathrm{PL}\right]_\mathrm{eq})}^2-\left(\left[\mathrm{P}\right]_0+\left[\mathrm{L}\right]_0-K_\mathrm{d}\right)\left[\mathrm{PL}\right]_\mathrm{eq}+\left[\mathrm{P}\right]_0\left[\mathrm{L}\right]_0=0\]

The correct equation is:

\[{(\left[\mathrm{PL}\right]_\mathrm{eq})}^2-\left(\left[\mathrm{P}\right]_0+\left[\mathrm{L}\right]_0+K_\mathrm{d}\right)\left[\mathrm{PL}\right]_\mathrm{eq}+\left[\mathrm{P}\right]_0\left[\mathrm{L}\right]_0=0\]

The minus sign before \(K_\mathrm{d}\) has been corrected to a plus sign.

(2) In the Supporting Information, the inequality describing the relationship between \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}\) and \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\) was stated incorrectly. The incorrect statement was:

From the expressions of \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}\) and \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\), we know that \(0>[\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}>[\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\).

The correct statement is:

From the expressions of \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}\) and \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\), we know that \(0<[\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}<[\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\).

The direction of the inequalities has been corrected: both \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}\) and \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq2}\) are positive quantities, and \([\mathrm{PL}]_\mathrm{eq1}\) is the physically meaningful (smaller) root of equation (4).
